suspension fridays
So, it's Friday..I haven't been updating my diary on a regular basis for the last couple of weeks. Work has been picking up some, so I think it's probably gonna get more sporadic over the next couple of months. Summer is the bz time around here.
I never did mention that me, baby, and the kid went to St. Pete for Peace's alternative to the 4th picnic on Sunday. It was a lot of fun even if it reeked of dead fish all over Gulfport Beach. Fucking red tide. We brought our blanket, water, Care Bears kite, frisbee, Dora ball, & some of my world famous Spicy Bean Goodness for the picnic. It took all those vegans an hour before they would taste it. Gotta luv em. The kid asked while we were driving to it if she would know anyone there. We told her that we doubted it because this was a group of war protestors and not really connected to her school or anything. Wouldn't you know that we weren't there for 10 min's before she spotted a boy that she went to Kindergarden with!! The INFAMOUS boy that we heard all about that year because she had such a hugh crush on him!! THEY WERE SOOOOO CUTE TOGETHER!!!! Both of them just dorked on each other! The cuteness is just doubled b/c she's our short, chubby little blonde thing & he was a tall, skinny, skinny, very dark skinned black boy!!! Oh too cute!!! I wished my mother a happy birthday yesterday. I wish I hadn't. I was doing my usual trying to find something that we can talk about without it turning into an argument & talked about how eventually we're gonna move up north. I hate the fucking cold with a passion, but we gotta do what we gotta do. So am talking about Conn, Mass, Vermont, Canada & she mentions Fulton County, GA. Yes, I agree that there's a civil union for that county only, but it disappears when you leave the county and the rest of the state is GEORGIA. Ya know........Georgia. She pipes up with, "Ya, the rest of the state wouldn't be too welcoming...plus you have all the blacks that you'd have to live with." !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE BLOODY FUCKING HELL????!!!!!!! I swear that I am gonna do everything in my power to try to make our next house in a neighborhood where we are the ONLY white people we can find!! Maybe then my parents won't ever visit!! Cause baby and I have EVER been the victim of hatred &/or violence by the hands of anyone other than a white, christian, male. EVER.
