****ANOTHER ENTRY ON PREVIOUS PAGE***
It's overwhelming. The images on CNN & MSNBC are so unbelievable. Everywhere these people turn, there's dead bodies. Bodies of people they know. Their loved ones are missing and they have no way to know if they're alive. Food and water are running out. Literally running out of clean water and unspoiled food. People are getting sick already from contaminated water and spoiled food, lack of medicine, & the inability to sanitize anything. All rescue efforts have stopped because of the violent uprising. Isn't there danger and violence in Iraq where the military is providing supplies every day???? I see reports all the time about gunfire where supplies are being brought in, but they still bring those supplies in. Is this country's citizens more important than our own?? Apparently they are. Bush is worried about making sure that looters are "prosecuted to the full extent of the law", regardless of the fact that if a lot of these people don't loot food, water, medicine, blankets, shoes….they &/or their loved ones (children and the elderly especially) will die. Yes, there are people who are being opportunistic parasites and are just adding to the problem. We don't need to steal 1/2 of the stuff that's being stolen. We don't need to shoot at rescue helicopters or each other. We don't need to rape our women. We don't need to be worrying more about getting "free" stuff than going building to building and making sure that anyone left alive is helped. But if that beast had stayed the original course and hit us…..I have a 7 year old daughter who needs food and water and protection. I have a wife with MS who needs her medicine. I would do WHATEVER I had/have to do in order to protect my family & I consider them one hell of a good goddamn reason to do ANYTHING that I need to do. How DARE Bush sit there in his $3,000 suit and tell these people that "there's no good reason for the looting"! It's Thursday………………..Dark Horizons on WMNF!!!!!! ***51 DAYS TILL NINE INCH NAILS…..WHAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!***
