Because of the common interpretation of the story of Sodom and Gomorrah, the word "sodomy" has made it into our lexicon synonymous with ass fucking. It's long overdue we corrected the misconceptions upon which Sodom and Gomorrah got associated with homosexuality.

First, people actually have to read the Bible (Gen 19:1-19:38). It's only one chapter and shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to read carefully.

But here is the quick run-down.

19:1 - Lot greets 2 Angels at the gates of Sodom.

19:2 - 3 - Lot then takes them to his place and says make yourself at home.

19:4 - "All people from all quarters" surround Lot's home.

19:5 - The mob wants to know who the hell are the 2 strangers in Lot's home.

19:6 - 7 - Lot steps out of the house locking the door behind him to speak to the mob.

19:8 - Lot then offer these "Gay Men" his 2 virgin daughters in exchange for leaving his guest alone...and everyone knows how the gays love virgin females.

19:9 - 11 - The angry mob say fuck that bullshit we're breaking in and get blinded by the 2 angels.

19:12 -15 - The Angels then tell Lot to take his family and leave Sodom because they are going to nuke the city.

19:16 - 23 - Lot and his family retreat to the city of Zoar.

19:24 -25 - Brimestone and fire, yada yada yada

19:26 - Lot's wife looks back to see the fire and for disobeying God she turn into a pillar of salt!

19:27-29 - It gets boring from here until....

19:32 - 33 - Lot's 2 virgin daughters get their dad drunk and have sex with him (Zoar is pr3esent-day West Virginia).

19:33 - 38 - yada yada yada

The point of the whole story is that this mob wanted to know who these Angels were and broke into Lot's home. They never said they wanted to rape the Angels.....or did they? It all depends which version you read. If you read the original 1611 KING JAMES VERSION the word "carnally" is not there. If you read the modern REVISION of the original the word "carnally" is there. They added that word when they wrote either the 1952 or 1989 versions.

But if this were a gay mob, then why would Lot offer them his daughters and make it known that these women were virgins? Would virgin girls sound like a tempting offer to gay men? I don't think so.

But let's just give that to them. Fine. The men were gay and they wanted to ass rape the Angels. Then doesn't it make more sense they were killed by God for being rapist and not for being gay?

So why did God destroy Sodom?

Ezekiel 16:49-50: Now this was the sin of Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. They were haughty and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen.

In other words, being a total dick is a sin. It doesn't matter if you are gay or straight. However, it does matter if you're a complete shmuck. Oh yeah, and don't attempt to rape Angels. Apparently, they frown on that.
